We want let you know about the exciting changes coming from Scales Industrial Technologies. Each one is a vital part of our continuous commitment to remaining at the forefront of digital communications capability and evolving to meet your rapidly changing business needs. No doubt you’ve heard the old saying about how a certain he or she “wrote the book” on one subject or another. Well, when it comes to developing innovative, high-efficiency compressed air systems and energy-saving technologies, the pioneers at Scales can legitimately make that claim. In fact, company founder and CEO Bill Scales literally
co-authored the industry-renowned Best Practices for Compressed Air Systems sponsored by the United States Department of Energy (USDOE). As part of its Allied Partnership with the USDOE, Scales has created leading edge solutions for some of the world’s leading companies.
So…why are we telling you all this? First, to let everyone know that Scales will stay at the forefront of compressed air technology and remain the industry’s prime player. At the same time, our company has been broadening its horizons to new areas. “During 2012 we’ll be branching out to serve a variety of other industries,” states Niff Ambrosino, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Scales Industrial Technologies; “specifically process cooling, energy saving equipment controls, and medical compressed air and vacuum.”
Together with Peter Scales, who serves as corporate Vice President, Bill Scales reiterated their commitment to being the best service company…period. “Our goal is to reduce the cost of ownership, improve reliability and increase profitability for our customers.”
Actually, the foundation for this new directive was set years ago in 2005, when the company changed from Scales Air Compressor to its current name. Recently, a new tagline was also developed to reflect Scales Industrial Technologies’ new business paradigm: Total Compressed Air Solutions…And More!
“We want to be clear that Scales remains committed to servicing compressed air systems, which made Scales an industry leader,” Ambrosino asserts. “We feel there are several other opportunities in other sectors that represent strong, solid growth opportunities for Scales, industries where our technological expertise and service capabilities can increase productivity and profitability for our customers. Our new name and branding campaign are part of this…and are only the beginning.”
“We know that an endeavor of this magnitude takes time and that we need to inform both potential and established clients of our plans and capabilities,” he continues. “Towards this end, Scales is currently developing advanced digital and social media marketing tools that will enable us to communicate more effectively with the vertical markets we presently, and plan to, serve.”
Among these new developments are: a redesigned website that’s both informative and easier to navigate; a monthly blog with the latest updates on company activities; and a regular newsletter with which we’ll be better able to share news and ideas with our customers. As time goes on, additional social media may be utilized as necessary to reach out to those who can benefit from our services. We continue to grow, despite recent economic woes, with all branches of our business healthy and bringing on new employees in every area from sales to service. Progress means change…and we’re ready to meet whatever challenges lie ahead.
